New to the European market in 2017, Kara Group was developed with the purpose of helping professionals have access to uniforms that are not only made from high quality materials and are highly functional, but that also bring elements of style, comfort and technology to their working environment.

Based in Elland, West Yorkshire, we are located in the traditional heartland of the UK’s heritage textile industry. Kara Group is a trading brand of Interweave Textiles Ltd, a wholesale supplier of healthcare textiles to NHS and private hospitals, care homes and clinics.

Throughout our company history we have valued our team of staff and paid fair salaries to all. In 2024, we have officially become accredited as a Living Wage Employer, proving our commitment to continue this into the future because we believe a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay.

We focus on sourcing uniform and scrub ranges that are made from high quality fabrics, which are highly functional, whilst still providing an element of fashion design.

Through developing exclusive partnerships with overseas brands, we’ve been able to bring these products to the UK market. Kara is now the UK exclusive distributor of USA uniform brands Wink and Jaanuu.  Our customers tell us that they shop at Kara Group for something a bit different which breaks the mould from the traditional boxy scrub!

We have ranges that suit multiple price points, order sizes (from an individual to an entire practice or hospital) and design requirements. Keeping core lines in stock, we can deliver these uniforms to you straight from stock, there’s no need to wait.
